has decided to cut its ties with Microsoft and cast its lot with with RealNetworks and Verizon.

Rhapsody America does not have a launch date or pricing plan yet. Toffler did say that the new company will kick off integrated marketing during the live telecast of the Video Music Awards on September 9.
