Sony will launch a slimmed-down version of its PlayStation Portable handheld game player in Japan on September 20 for $162.
Although the new version of the console looks physically very similar to the old one it is 33 percent light, 19 percent slimmer, has a more efficient battery and twice the amount of memory to enable faster loading.
The new hardware can also output its video signal to any standard television set.
It is also rumored that you will have 6 different colors to pick from.
