New Firmware for Sony's Blu-Ray Player

It will enhance the playback compatibility as well improve its BD-Java in terms of interactivity with some BD-ROMs
Sony has issued new firmware for its BDP-S1 Blu-ray player. It brings the player's firmware to V1.6 .

Improvements over firmware version 1.55: Enhanced playback compatibility with certain BD-ROM format discs, including improved pop-up menu functionality. Improves BD-Java compatibility to enhance interactivity with some BD-ROMs.
