  • "Number of Discs" is now available as a column for the main screen list
• Fixed:
  • When starting the program on Mac OS X Lion, the main Movie Collector window always appeared behind other windows.
  • Main Screen:
    • Removing movies could cause weird display errors in the list panel.
    • Sorting on the "Seen It" field didn't work
    • After adding a new movie, the main screen list (either in List, Images or CoverFlow mode), didn't automatically select and scroll to the added movie.
    • While in Image and Cover Flow mode, selecting a folder in the tree didn't automatically select the first movie in the list.
    • Episodes in the tree panel were missing the Episode Index.
  • Edit Movie: using Next/Previous for editing Plot, Notes or Extra Features fields for multiple movies would crash the program.
  • Update Automatically:
    • When linking movies, some searches still gave "Wrong Movie" results.
    • Updating multiple movies in one go sometimes crashed the program.
    • After an Update, new Genre/ScreenRatio/etc values were not immediately available in the corresponding checkbox lists of the Edit Movie screen.
    • Updating TV Series with episodes could still cause duplicate episodes.
  • Import from XML:
    • Some imported movies couldn't be edited (related to empty Disc titles).
    • Price fields weren't imported correctly, especially non-dollar values.
    • Episodes weren't imported correctly.
  • Add Movies Automatically: Series field wasn't downloaded.
  • Details View templates:
    • The episode level IMDB links weren't working.
    • Extra Features field did not support HTML formatting.
    • Plot and Notes fields: line breaks got lost.
    • Font size of Notes field was too large.
  • Export to CLZ Movies: Directors and Producers were reversed.
  • Export to XML was generating invalid XML.

  • Edit Movie and Remove Movie buttons in the toolbar are now also enabled when selecting a movie in the tree panel.
  • New Edit/Remove Movie commands in the right-click menu of the tree panel.

    • Various crashes while navigating folders and movies.

    • Web Links were never updated when there were already links present. (this also caused Movie Trailer links not to be downloaded)

  • "Could not be saved" error after importing. (this problem only occurred for V3 databases that had Barcode values longer than 13 digits)
  • Musicians were imported with "unknown" as the Credit "role".
  • Not all web links were imported from the V3 database. (if you ran into one of these, we recommend re-importing your V3 database)
  • Using one of the Year fields as the Folder field or Statistics field caused various problems and crashes.
  • Update Movies Automatically did not work correctly for un-linked movies. (it asked to Link those movies, but afterward did not actually do the Update)

  • Fixed: it was rarely possible to use the Update feature (it was disabled)

  • Simpler installation: just drag the app to the Applications folder.

  • After syncing UP, you can now also upload the Cover Images for movies that don't have a cover image in Connect yet.
  • You can now also upload your own cover image on the Edit Movie page in Movie Collector Connect, using the Browse (or Choose File) and Upload buttons.
• Syncing Down FROM Connect, improvements to prevent unwanted changes to local data:
  • Extra "Are you sure?" question before syncing down.
  • New layout of Sync screen, with a BIG Upload button and a small Download button.
  • Syncing down will never clear fields / make fields empty
  • Syncing down will never update or add to existing local data values, EXCEPT when the local field is still empty.
    For example: no Genres will be added to existing lists,
    Titles, Studios, Release Dates, Running Time, etc.. will not be overwritten.
  • For Personal fields (purchase data, notes, rating, etc...) full syncing will be maintained.
  • Syncing down will never un-link movies
• Linking:
  • The question box "You have unlinked movies. Do you want to link them now?" now has a "Never ask for these movies again" checkbox.
  • Link Screen: When using "Search All" all exact barcode matches are now linked automatically (and removed from the queue)
  • If you upload unlinked movies, Connect will try to auto-link them by barcode.
  • After linking, the program does not auto-update the linked movies anymore, preventing unexpected (and possibly unwanted) data additions to your local entries.
