The results and analysis for Blu-ray (and DVD) sales for the week ending 11th August 2012 is in. We finally have an A-lis release in the form of the $200m+ box office smash The Lorax. No surprise then that it dominated the sales charts, outselling the number two Blu-ray title by almost 20 to 1.
With the release of The Hunger Games next week, and a whole bunch of TV show Blu-rays, it marks the start of the real sales season. Expect records to be broken!
