Roku will begin sending out a major firmware update today to its Internet players that will polish up the interface and the way it operates

Roku will begin sending out a major firmware update today to its Internet players that will polish up the interface and the way it operates.

The 2.8 upgrade lets viewers reorder channels on the home screen and has a new grid layout for the Channel Store to help find new content sooner

The update is mainly for older models so no need to updated if you have the HD, XD, or XDS.
