YouTube announced support for what it is calling 4K videos; meaning videos shot in their original aspect ratio “all the way up to 4096p

YouTube announced support for what it is calling 4K videos; meaning videos shot in their original aspect ratio “all the way up to 4096p.

"We always want videos on YouTube to be available in the highest quality possible, as creators intend."

The typical screen size for a 4K video is about 25 feet.  IMAX movies are projected through two 2k resolution projectors.
