The official blog of Popbox announced today that it will not quite make its July 23rd ship date and without Netflix content. The delay is being blamed on software not being quite ready.

On top of that bad news, another blow was dealt when it also informed consumers that it would be launching without big time content provider Netflix.

Oh yea, standard definition TV's need not apply as it only works with HDTVs.
