Starting with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, players will need an "Online Pass" to enjoy the game over Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network which comes free with new copies but costs $10 used game owners.

All upcoming titles such as NCAA Football 11, NHL 11, Madden NFL 11, NBA 11, FIFA 11, and EA Sports MMA will require the online pass if you wish to play on XBOX Live or the PlayStation Network.

If you purchased the new copy, that really doesn't affect you, but used copies will require an additional $10 for online game play.

You do however get a 7 day trial of the service before they actually make you buy the $10 pass to continue to play online.
