The subscription music service Rhapsody officially announced today that it will part ways with former partner RealNetworks and branch off by itself

The subscription music service Rhapsody officially announced today that it will part ways with former partner RealNetworks and branch off by itself lowering the monthly subscription price to just $10. 

 New customers will also get to use the service free of charge for the first two weeks.

Rhapsody is targeting to mega hot smartphone market right now in hopes of beating competitors to the emerging market of portable music streaming.
