Blockbuster announced this morning that it has signed a new agreement with Warner Bros. that will allow them to immediately rent new DVD and Blu-Ray releases from the studio, without having to wait the 28 days like Redbox and Netflix.

The deal includes three of the four distribution methods Blockbuster uses such as: on-demand digital delivery, its by-mail subscription service and the old-fashioned method of renting to customers at their store locations.

Hopefully this deal can revive the life back into Blockbuster who is closing stores all over the US and is contemplating bankruptcy.
