ASUS has announced the its first USB 3.0 media player, the O!Play HD2, that features a USB 3.0 right on the front of the device.  That is all we currently know about the new device as ASUS has not revealed any details what so ever.

But if you assumed it would be like the other O!Play devices, the HD2 should be able to connect to a user's home network, either with a wired LAN connection or over Wi-Fi. It should also be capable of playing back 1080p HD videos.

As suspected, ASUS has not revealed any pricing information or shipment dates.
