Although the Sony has sold two more million consoles than last year at this time, they are still losing six cents for every dollar of hardware sold.

That equates out to about $20 for every console sold.  Sony is still committed to improving the bottom dollar and has said it promises by March 2011 they will have a 15% reduction in cost.
