Sony has decided to partner up with RealD, as the Japanese electronics giant continues its push into the growing market for 3-D home entertainment

Sony has decided to partner up with RealD, as the Japanese electronics giant continues its push into the growing market for 3-D home entertainment.

Sony has committed to license some of RealD’s technology and equipment, such as 3-D eye wear, which can be used with Sony TV screens and other 3D devices.

The 3D equipment is expected to hit shelves sometime in 2010.
