Womble has released the latest version of their MPEG Video Wizard DVD MPEG-1/2 editing software. A restructuring of their offerings has meant that the previously separate MPEG Video Wizard and MPEG-VCR has had their functionalities merged into MVW DVD to add even more value to the package.
Here's a summary of what else is new in the 5.0 version:
- MainConcept MPEG-2 video encoder
- DVD Reader tool
- Transition operator "Video Overlay" to emulate a limited version of two video tracks
- "Aspect ratio converter" filter for video format conversion
- DVD export size control to fit a given (DVD-5/DVD-9) disc capacity
- a number of bug fixes.
