Nintendo has plans to launch a new version of its DSi hand-held video game player with a larger screen in Japan later this year.
The new DSi will have two screens in excess of four inches, about the same size as the PSP-3000's screen, and might lead to new applications for the DSi such as a Kindle like interface.
Nintendo is also hoping to attract the older "visually challenged" demographic due to its BIG easy to read screen.
The new DSi will sell for around the same price but, no word as to when it may come overseas.
