JVC joined the race in small, fast-paced pocket camcorders today with the launch of their new Picsio GC-FM1, a palm-sized hi-def camera

The camera shoots in 1080p, 720p, VGA, and QVGA modes, and can snap still in up to 8MP. There's an on-board HDMI port, image stabilizer, SD card slot (expandable up to 32GB), a 2.0 LCD, image stabilizer, and supports direct upload to YouTube and iTunes.

PICSIO's high quality images result from the use of an eight-mega pixel CMOS image sensor and can record 1080p Full HD video that's easily enjoyed on an HDTV by using the camera's HDMI connection.
