Sony has decided to partner up with Universal Music Group in adding more content to the premium video site called Vevo

Sony has decided to partner up with Universal Music Group in adding more content to the premium music video site Vevo.

Sony quotes the site as being "built for consumers, advertisers, and content owners."

Sony's logic is the more premium content Vevo has, there more advertising there is and would result in more money for the content owners.

The music videos will be made available through a Vevo YouTube Channel and through an embeddable Vevo-branded player when the site opens later this year.
