With the average price of a movie ticket now more than $7, film lovers are looking for a more affordable way to enjoy the latest Hollywood hits

Verizon FiOS TV has the answer with a May promotion that offers subscribers three recent box office hits - "Marley and Me," "Doubt" and "Frost/Nixon" - on the company's video-on-demand (VOD) service for just $2.99 each.

The FiOS TV VOD library offers more than 1,000 movies a month at bargain matinée prices - and with picture and Dolby-sound quality that rivals a theater experience.
