Warner Home Video launched an online manufacturing-on-demand (MOD) DVD program today that allows consumers to select movies from its huge archive to either have them shipped directly to their homes or downloaded immediately.

Many are very specialized and never even got released on VHS,” he said. “Many of these films we have been beleaguered with requests for years. It gives consumers a virtual key to the vault, if you will. It’s a big win for collectors.”

You can visit the Warner Archive to browse the selection to place orders for DVDs or to download the electronic version.  DVDs will cost you $19.95 while downloads will cost $14.95.
