Features of the ASUS DVD Writer are:

Vertical DVD Reader/Writer
USB 2.0
Turbo engine for better performance
Comes with software for easing disc burning
Measures 156.4mm x 140.8mm x 21mm
128 bit encryption technology
USB powered DVD Drive

Asus has not announced a price yet though.
