Due to many complaints from Xbox 360 owners, Microsoft has fixed a bug that caused no audio to be transmitted if hooked to your TV via a HDMI cable.

Some users even complained it would neither do audio or video when using a HDMI setup.

It only took Microsoft two months to fix this annoying problem but, the fix will be applied tonight at 2:00AM PST via a mandatory dashboard update.
