PS3 Processors Get Faster

The cell processor for the PS3 is getting a speed boost from 65nm to 45nm

The cell processor for the PS3 is getting a speed boost from 65nm to 45nm. 

 The smaller chip will use about 40 percent less power,  which means the cooling process is not as intense. 

That will in result make it cheaper to produce and improve the company’s profit margins.
