Netflix Finds the Cause of Delays

Rumors (started by Netflix itself) are that a database upgrade was the reason why for a delay in shipping of DVDs to 1/3 of its 8.4 million customers.

It really doesn't matter what the cause was, Netflix still lost 6 million dollars in revenue for the third quarter.
