Only a couple of days after Toshiba withdrew from the HD war between Blu-ray, they are now partnering up with Sony on the PS3.

Toshiba finalized a previous announcement on how they will help Sony lower the PS3 production cost. I guess if you can't beat them, join them.

The reason for the price drop said Sony, is cause the demand for Blu-Ray products are higher now and the price of production is cheaper Sony to Lower Price of Blu-Ray Player

Considering its capabilities, specially being a official Blu-ray DVD player, it really isn't a bad deal (thats if Blu-ray wins the HD war) Is the PS3 Priced Too High?
