A study done by Comcast, which questioned 662 adults who either own HDTVs or are interested in high-def, found that whether or not the game is in high-def will play a big part in how and where people watch it.

A third of consumers (35%) who have high-def set-ups are planning on hosting a Super Bowl party, while 43% surveyed said a party somewhere else is more attractive if the game were being shown in high-def.
