Third Party Exclusiveness

Are "Third Party Exclusive" games, such as Metal Gear Solid, which are only made to play on one specific game console, a thing of the past |
Metal Gear Solid 4, brought to you by Konami, is due out next year and is only playable on the PS3.
Konami is telling its customers that if you want to play 'Metal Gear Solid 4', you have to buy a PS3, no if, and, or buts.
Sony said that there will be 15 PS3 exclusives released between September 2007 and April 2008.
