No P2P

Comcast Says No to File Sharing

It would appear that Comcast has started using a new technology that tries to slow down or halt the flow of torrents and other types of P2P file sharing traffic. False traffic is generated that can prevent one end or the other from communicating.

Their goal at the moment is simply to stop or slow uploads: Downloads proceed as normal. Unfortunately, the very essence of peer to peer, including torrents, is that you are downloading from another person.
