China doesn't take sides in HD war, it makes its on side
China has decided to add to the HD format wars and will begin developing its own specialized form of HD DVD, calling the format CH-DVD.
The format is based off that of HD DVD and is physically very similar to HD DVD discs, down to the blue laser.
The launch of CH-DVD, if it actually happens, could not only mean that China gets its own high-def format, but that manufacturing for HD DVD discs could move to China too, due to the physical similarities between the two
