Digital Digest's 8th Birthday

Today is Digital Digest's 8th Birthday. It was 8 years ago, in 1999, that the very first Digital Digest site was launched, then known as DVDigest (and it looked something like this).

Since then, so much has happened that the current Digital Digest bears almost no resemblance (in terms of content and design) to the original (click here for the site's history), but the central idea behind the website still remains the same - to help people with all their (high and not so high def) DVD and digital video needs.

This year has seen many changes on Digital Digest, some pleasant, others less so. We've had to make many changes, and it has not been easy, but hopefully by this time next year, we will remember the 9th year of Digital Digest as a good year.

We've put together a collage of the different looks of Digital Digest throughout the years for you to look at (and laugh at us for our immature designs).

After 6 months of work, the "new" Digital Digest is now online and active. This re-design marks the biggest change to Digital Digest since its launch way back in 1999. For the first time in a long time, Digital Digest is now a single, unified website with a unified design, completely database driven, searchable and hopefully, it will be an easier website to both use and maintain Welcome to the "New" Digital Digest
