New HD-DVD and Blu-ray product announcements are made almost daily, as the next generation format race is heating up. Toshiba will be announcing a slim standard 12.7mm high SD-L902A drive for notebooks on Tuesday.

The announcement will take place at the Ceatec expo in Japan. The expo will kick off with Sony's Blu-ray news conference, and many HD-DVD/Blu-ray announcements are expected to be made during the event by different vendors. More...
