Online movie download service Movielink on Monday said it has licensed technology from Sonic Solutions to allow consumers to download a movie and burn it onto a DVD for use in standard DVD players.
But the download-to-burn service will not be available until the company obtains a license for DVD encrypting technology later this year.
"We are hopeful this gets into the market in a big way in the next six months or so," Jim Ramo, MovieLink chief executive said on Monday. More...
