Speculations that the Russian site operates outside of the law, selling music without permission of the record labels and the artists
Although popular with music fans because of its wide selection of music, codecs, and bit rate combined with low prices, Allofmp3.com has been a thorn in the side of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) for years.

At the IFPI's prompting, Russian law enforcement officials began an investigation of the site in February 2005. Two weeks later, investigators decided that they lacked the legal basis to take action against the site. More...
