Can't Decide on Which HD Format to Buy?

LG officially announced it will develop a dual-format Blu-ray and HD DVD player, and analysts are saying that the company plans to launch the much-rumored device this fall.
Last week, LG became the second member of the Blu-ray club that said it would also support HD DVD. The first was HP, which should be credited for having the presence of mind to be the first to decide to straddle the fence in this absurd replay of the VHS/Betamax wars.
Samsung prepares to launch a dual player as well.
