Description:

Tribler is an open-source file sharing client (based on the BitTorrent protocol) that allows you to search and download files, and watch videos, through an easy to use interface.

Unlike traditional file sharing clients, there's no need for a central indexer/search engine, as the feature is built right into the client.

Tribler has been developed by researchers at Delft University of Technology, and has been designed to help keep torrent downloads alive, even if indexes and trackers have been removed.

Tribler also works in the same way as traditional BitTorrent clients, and accepts .torrent and Magnet Links.
