EMDB is a small utility to keep track of your DVD collection. With an automatic import from the database of IMDB, export to csv, text or complete website, thumbnail cover preview, a loan tracker, search function and multi-language user interface. EMDB is written in C++ using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and doesn't need a .NET framework or any other external libraries. And best of all... it's free!
EMDB is available in several languages: English, Dutch, Danish, German, Italian, Portugese, Slovak, Spanish, Hungarian Croatian, Swedish, Greek, Catalan, Czech, Norwegian, Japanese, French and Finnish translations are included in the setup.
General: When deleting a movie with renumbering sometimes the list got messed up (database was fine though).
User Interface: Main Window columns were reset when changing Export column options.
Export / Print: Added AKA as possible Export / Print columns.
User Interface: Added TV-Series Filter.
HTML Export: Alternative HTML Export location. Because of access problems of the Program Files folder on Vista and Windows 7 you can now choose your own target folder. Default is the User folder.
Database: Alternative database location. It is now possible to select a custom location for your database to be able to share a single database over a network.
Update IMDB: Take year into account to prevent multiple results.
Add / Edit Movie: Thumbnails were not saved when using Next / Previous button.
Add / Edit Movie: Check for duplicates when using Add and Continue was not performed.
Add movies from HDD: skip already added ones (based on path and filename)
Translations: Added Serbian translation.
Translations: Updated the Turkish and Chinese translations.
System: When no network connection available two error messages were shown.
