The results and analysis for Blu-ray (and DVD) sales for the week ending 14th April 2012 is in. The post Easter lull is upon us, and as expected, both DVD and Blu-ray revenue fell heavily compared to the previous week. Only two new Blu-ray releases in the top 10 this week, with The Darkest Hour outselling The Iron Lady by almost a 2:1 margin.
This post Easter lull resulted in very similar sales figures compared to the last post Easter lull, with Blu-ray slightly up, DVD slightly down, and combined revenue about the same.
