The results and analysis for Blu-ray (and DVD) sales for the week ending 27th August 2011 is in. It was a very quiet week for Blu-ray, with the only new release in the top 10 only managed to get as high as 4th, and Bambi II was hardly the kind of title that would have buyers excited.
But even with such a poor week (the worst revenue wise in 2011, and the worse market share result since Feburary), Blu-ray revenue and market share still rose compared to the same week last year (which to be fair, was also a bad week for sales).
