Another Blu-ray “Buy More Save More” sale at Amazon.com. Only 15 titles as part of this Universal Studios sale, including titles such as The Fast and the Furious series, Shaun of the Dead, King Kong and more. Buy 3 to save $20, buy 6 to save $50 and buy 10 to save $100. I made a test order consisting of 10 titles (the cheapest few, plus the rest at $20.99), it works out to be around $13.83 per title, before shipping.

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009Another Buy More and Save More campaign at the moment (the other one is here), and this one promises even more savings. Buy 3 Blu-ray movies from the list of 40 and save $20 at checkout, but if you buy 6 then you can save $50, and a massive $100 savings is available to you if you buy 10 Blu-ray’s. Titles include the new on Blu-ray title The Da Vinci Code, Hancock, Close Encounters and more.
The individual prices aren’t all that special, so you really have to buy more to save. I did a sample purchase order of 10 titles and it came to $272.70 (excluding shipping). Once the discount was added in, it came to $172.70, or $17.27 per disc.

Thursday, June 11th, 2009Amazon has a new “Buy More Save More” style sale on, with savings of up to $65. The way this works is that the more Blu-ray movies you buy, the more you save – buy 2 Blu-ray movies, and save $8 off the total, buy 3 to save $12 and all the way up to buying 10 movies to save $65!
There are 34 titles to choose from, most if not all are 20th Fox and MGM titles. I like maths, so as an example purchase, I ordered the 10 least expensive titles, which totalled $198.90 (excluding shipping). Going through checkout, the $65 discount was automatically applied, and the total became $133.90, or a cheap $13.39 per movie! Use the link below to access this deal:
