Expired: The Humble Indie Bundle 2 (pay whatever you want for games) – It’s Back!
December 17th, 2010Following the success of the first Humble Indie Bundle, the same deal is back, with five games being offered for the price of … whatever you’d like to pay.
Normally retailing for $85, these five indie games can be had for as little as nothing (boo!) or as much as you want, and you can even decide how your money will be sent – on the game, or to charity. The average payment so far is around $7, and the top contributor paid $2000 for the pleasure.
The games are Braid, Cortex Command, Machinarium, Osmos and Revenge of the Titans. And of course, the games are all DRM free.

Expired: Amazon Black Friday Blu-ray Sales
November 21st, 2010Black Friday is here again, and Amazon.com are running a series of sales throughout the week of 22nd November. This post will concentrate on the Blu-ray bargains.
Here’s the main Amazon.com Black Friday and Cyber Monday DVD & Blu-ray Sales page – if there are deals, it will all be posted on this page.
Then there are a series of Lightning Deals, which happen at specific times, and are only available in limited quantities. There are a few Blu-ray deals, such as Live Free or Die Hard for only $5, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time for under $10, and if there are enough Facebook “likes”, Mad Men Season 1, 2 and 3 on Blu-ray for $9.99 each (on Friday).
