Trace State

This menu allows you to:

·         Remember and restore all GPRMs and SPRMs whenever you wish by taking up to 4 user snapshots.  (You might like to remember your registers before experimenting in the input box, or before manually moving to another PGC to do something there and restore them after your return).  Using this is especially convenient if you need to debug a specific part of the DVD and you don't want to restart the trace from the beginning all the time.

·         Similarly, return to and restore all registers for important points: Current and Last PGC; Current and Last Domain; the Last PGC played and the Last Menu PGC played.  This is a very powerful means of debugging your DVD’s navigation.

·         Clear the register changed flags (greys out everything in the watch and while not changing the value in the register, it changes the state to unused). This is especially useful to see which registers are modified during the playback of a specific part of the DVD.

·         Clear the highlights from the PGCs that have been called or played.  This is useful to see which PGCs have been visited/played during the playback of a specific part of the DVD.

·         As the DVD trace runs, mark or clear (as a PGC Comment) those PGCs that are visited as either “called” or “played”.

·         Restart the trace of the DVD from the “Exit state” (play title 1 with all GPRMs cleared).  This simulates what a real player should do when the Stop button is pressed twice then the Play button is pressed once.
