The results and analysis for Blu-ray (and DVD) sales for the week ending 30th November 2013 is in. The infamous Black Friday sales occured during this week, and so Blu-ray and DVD revenue rose dramatically. Not traditionally a week for new releases, and this year was no different, with Red 2 being the only new release of note, finishing 2nd on the Blu-ray best sellers list.

BF 2013 was a huge success for Blu-ray, as Blu-ray recorded its biggest ever week, breaking the previous record (set during December 2012) by nearly $3.5 million. DVD's decline was also slightly bigger than the year before, at 9.6% or $26.93 million (compared to $21.06 million from BF 2011 to 2012).
