Panasonic has unveiled a new Viera television, the G3, that allows users to record to removable media such as a SD card or USB flash drive.

For a 64GB SDXC card, you can expect to record about 5-8 hours of 1080p recording.  The G3 also features full LED back lighting, VIERA Link support, and support for AVCHD content from video cameras.

All of that for about $1,800.
