A Swedish court upheld the judges conviction on the Pirate Bay founders but increased the fines from 4.3 million to

A Swedish court upheld the judges conviction on prison time for the three founders but increased the fines from 4.3 million to 9.3 million.

Initially all three founders were handed down a 1 year prison sentence but as of right now none of them will serve more than 10 months.

 ”After a ruling like this and all the pioneers start to get older and have children and families, piracy won’t occur to this extent.”

Regardless of how many rulings are handed down and torrent sites are closed, file sharing is and will stay alive.
