Google is rumored to start a streaming movie rental service with a wide selection of newly released movies to compliment its Google TV. The movies would be available on a pay-per-view basis via streaming, rather than as downloads, and would cost about $5 for newer releases.

I would imagine this service would be apart of the much rumored "Google TV" that would be an alternative to cable or satellite, function as a streaming media box.  The multi-media platform would basically be in all-in-one component to go with the TV.
