Sony has publicly apologized for the crashes the latest firmware update caused when swapping hard drives and said it

Sony has publicly apologized for the crashes the latest firmware update caused when swapping hard drives and said it will re-issue version 3.41 on August 2, 2010.

If you have been affected by this firmware update that results in crash systems, Sony advises you to download new update and try booting up their systems again.
