Netflix agrees to wait 28 days before renting newly released content from Fox & Universal in exchange for more content from

Netflix agrees to wait 28 days before renting or streaming newly released content from Fox & Universal in exchange for more content (major movies and TV shows) from the studios.

The deal is virtually the same deal Netflix has made with Warner Bros. earlier this year.

This deal should help the popular "Watch Instantly" feature of Netflix by providing an increased selection of the studio's movies that can be streamed instantly from Netflix to TVs and computers.
