Sharp claims that advances in 3D technology have greatly improved 3-D image quality on small mobile screens and they plan on making 3D touchscreens for a variety of devices.

The screens that Sharp will produce are aimed at small devices, such as cell phones and even rumors that the new 3D Nintendo DS will use them.

Sharp also said the screens will have a optional switch to toggle back and forth between 2D and 3D.
