At a press conference in New York, TiVo revealed details about a new set-top box that makes it easier to find your favorite programs whether they be on television, on the DVR or on the Web.

The new DVRs feature greater integration with web content, increased interactivity, and better support for HDTVs, all run by an interface developed using Adobe Flash.

TiVo says it will have thousands of widgets, ranging from standard weather and stock information to status updates from Twitter and other social networking services.

The new Premier box will start shipping in April at prices starting at about $300.
