AMD has released its Catalyst 9.12 drivers, bringing DirectCompute 10.1 compatibility to Radeon HD 4700 and 4800 series graphics cards. The drivers offer better performance in 3DMark Vantage & S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call pf Pripyat.
The change log for the 9.12 Catalysts drivers mentions bug fixes in PowerDVD, WinDVD, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, City of Heroes, one of the Chronicles of Riddick games, IL-2 Sturmovik: Forgotten Battles, Resident Evil 5, and Tom Clancy's HAWX.
Also, AMD says it's finally squashed a bug that caused the mouse cursor to double in size randomly in Windows 7.
